Job Function:
The Senior Calibration Engineer has responsibilities for all testing and calibration activities required by the laboratory, using established procedures and GTEC standard equipments appropriately. Has a command and obligation to calibration Engineers performing calibration work in and out of laboratory. He should act as deputy to the Technical Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Testing and/or calibrating instruments as per established procedures
• Preparing and finalizing test / calibration report, repair service report and non-calibration report
• Informing Laboratory Supervisor / Manager about the non-conforming work
• Recommending GTEC laboratory management on any improvement pertaining to test and calibration
• Assisting GTEC laboratory management in developing calibration methods aside from standard methods
• Reviewing calibration technician’s report
• Supervising the team especially at on-site calibration
• Implementing good housekeeping in the laboratory
• Observing safety in every aspect of work in the laboratory

Minimum Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s / Diploma in Engineering
• With min 3 years working experience in an ISO 17025 accredited Calibration Laboratory
• Should be familiar with Dimension Instruments Calibration, Pressure Instruments Calibration, Thermal Instruments Calibration.
• With good commands of oral / written English
• Computer literate
• Can easily understand instructions and work under minimum supervision
• With good communication skills
